Premium and Registration Fee

Indigent

• A person assessed as an INDIGENT shall be exempted from the payment of Premium and Registration fees.

SSNIT Contributor/SSNIT Pensioner

• An applicant who is assessed as a SSNIT CONTRIBUTOR or a SSNIT PENSIONER shall be exempted from PREMIUM Payment.
• SSNIT applicant shall be asked to pay a non-refundable REGISTRATION FEE (to be determined by DMHIS).

Persons aged seventy years and above

• An applicant, who is aged 70 years and above, shall be exempted from PREMIUM payment.
• However, such an applicant shall pay a non-refundable REGISTRATION fee.

Dependants

• A DEPENDANT of an applicant shall be exempted from PREMIUM payment.

Premium for Informal Sector

• Applicants from the Informal Sector shall pay premium and registration fee.
